Fedora Open Source and Open Heart

Recently we have started to supply some of our systems to the family shelters to see how our program will work out with them. After receiving the following letter ...

'We have recently received a computer system from you. We have finally found housing after 4 months of being homeless. My children are 11 and 13, they are so excited to come home from school and get on there computer for help on there homework. Thank you so much for showing my children that the world has good people in it.

My sincere thanks,

Name Taken Out For Privacy Reasons'

We find ourselves truly honored and humbled by these kind words. We are so happy that these children are excited to have their computer. This is what we strive for every time we receive a donated computer. We do this because of families like this, we could never express in words how deeply these words have touched us - spurring us on to reach more and more families. We hope that when people read these kind words they will be moved to donate their used computers so that other children can benefit from the use of Fedora.

This all would not be possible if it was not for the Fedora Community, so we thank everyone that is, has been and will be involved with Fedora. Let us all rocket to better places with the new and upcoming Fedora 13.
